Company Milestones

Milestones are targets that are thoughtfully crafted to be both challenging and achievable, ensuring they drive substantial progress towards the growth of your company throughout the duration of your program.

These milestones will also assist you in building the strongest possible immigration case for your company, ensuring that you have valid proof to demonstrate to the government that you:

Have a qualitative project that prioritizes innovation and maintains active business operations within Canada. Contribute to Canada’s economy by creating job opportunities, generating revenue, and engaging with Canadian customers and suppliers. Maintain continuous business operations, evidenced by activities such as office rentals, social media publishing, annual reports, and communication with government and banks.

Milestone 1: Releasing a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of the first product at Nexgen AI Showcase Achieving this milestone should include:

A working demo of the product that can be showcased or trialed to potential leads or customers A live website that potential customers can access to understand more about the product and it’s value proposition A pathway for potential leads to either get on a newsletter list to be contacted when the product is commercially available A method for potential customers to connect with the team to ask questions or trial the product. A timeline and clear expectation of when the product will be made commercially available.

Milestone 2: Building a Sales Pipeline Strategy

Achieving this milestone should include:

A clear pricing model that is backed by customer interviews and industry data A list of specific companies to target in Canada that may be interested in your company, as well as the right people to talk to at those companies Creating specific connections or partnerships to build out a sales strategy on how to connect the companies on the list Customer interviews with parties related to those connections or adjacent parties. Ideally, Letters of Intent from potential partners would be a bonus
