Disco is the central access point to the different resources in your Maple Express program including the different Roadmap deliverables, webinar recordings, immigration information, and additional content. On Disco you will also get access to the resources and perks provided by Launch to enhance their startup businesses.
Slack is our first and quickest point of contact with each of you, so please get used to monitoring and participating in it regularly. Slack is your exclusive access to our community gathering all entrepreneurs currently enrolled in our Maple program as well as multiple mentors and partners.
Our main source of communication will be done through Slack, please make sure you are actively checking the Slack channels for information, updates, direct communication, and announcements.
Slack invites should have been sent during your Disco onboarding process. If you need it to be resent, please send Samson an email. Each member of your team should receive their own Slack account.
Make sure to download the Zoom application, instructions are in another chapter. Each Office Hour will be hosted over a Zoom meeting.
How To Set Up Zoom:
Click on the link: https://zoom.us/download to download Zoom You will be prompted to install Zoom Run the Installer Allow the page to open “zoom.us” by clicking “Allow” Zoom will launch Set a guest name — For our attendance purposes, please make sure this name is the name that you applied with You’re ready to go!
You can test your internet connection by joining a test meeting.
