First off, welcome to your Maple Express program! The team at Launch Academy is super excited to have you start your journey to Canada with us. Maple is a program dedicated to tech founders relocating in Canada - the first of its kind. Since 2012 we have helped over 100+ companies move their headquarters to Canada and we are excited to help you become the next one.
You were accepted into this program because we believe that you and your team will become a strong asset in building a better tech community in Canada, specifically, in Vancouver. All of you are great entrepreneurs in your own way, and we want to invest our time and energy into helping your businesses grow here in Canada.
At Launch, we want to be your landing pad and the first touch point to all things here in Canada. We aim to make your transition as smooth as possible from immigration to business, and personal standpoint. Building a business alone is hard enough, but running your business while juggling moving to a new country can be extra stressful. We’re not going to lie to you - there are going to be rocky nights ahead, but we’re here to walk alongside you and we’re grateful that you have trusted us to help you with this new chapter in your life.
As a team, we are small, but scrappy and resourceful. Many of our team members come from immigrant families so in many ways, this is a program that is very dear to our hearts. We have high hopes for each of you, and we can’t wait to get you started.
