As part of the Canadian Startup visa requirements, your company will have to be incorporated in Canada when you apply and receive your permanent residence. You will also need to show that any intellectual property has been transferred over to the Canadian incorporation.
Deciding which law firm or representative you want to hire to do your incorporation is ultimately up to you, please take a look at our different Incorporation partners below:
Let us know when you are ready to start your Incorporation process and we will introduce you to Whiteboard Law.
(During this Office Hour, Brock will answer any specific incorporation questions you have, give you a quick overview of MEP Law services, and give you information about the next steps of your incorporation process.
Do not forget to go through the webinar recording for the Incorporation Process with Brock to review any important information that was highlighted.
Please be on time for your meeting, as Brock is not able to extend your meeting beyond your allotted time. If you are more than 5 minutes late for your scheduled time, it will be treated as a no-show and you will need to re-book for another time, likely several weeks later.)
If you would like to chat with MEP, they require a direct email introduction so please reach out to us.
Once you have successfully completed your incorporation process, please make sure to save the certificate somewhere that you can easily access with the other required documentation that you will need to upload on your Disco course.
